Techub News, according to Bloomberg, Nicolas Roussy Newton, the former Chief Operating Officer of blockchain software company BTQ Technologies, has been barred by a federal judge from disclosing the company’s trade secrets through two website domains. Newton, who is the brother of the company’s current CEO, is accused of leaking sensitive documents to the media and regulators and threatening the company’s lawyers.
The court ruled that Newton’s actions have caused harm to BTQ, including making defamatory statements accusing his brother of “attempted murder.” The injunction, signed by U.S. District Judge Sharad H. Desai, prohibits Newton from continuing to use the relevant domains to disclose the company’s confidential information.
