OKX CMO: Not in a hurry to list in the US, hopes to be confident of creating long-term value for shareholders before listing

Techub News, according to CoinDesk, Haider Rafique, Global Managing Partner and Chief Marketing Officer of OKX, stated at the Digital Asset Summit in New York that OKX is in no hurry to list in the United States and wants to be confident it can create long-term value for shareholders before going public.

OKX was recently valued at $25 billion in a strategic transaction with Intercontinental Exchange, the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange. Rafique said this valuation is conservative, aiming to leave room for future shareholder returns. Citing the volatile performance of Coinbase and other listed cryptocurrency companies, Rafique believes a hasty listing could harm the industry, and therefore focuses on long-term growth, global liquidity, and tokenized finance plans.
