Aave founder Stani Kulechov calls for optimizing the DAO governance model to accelerate decision execution.

Techub News reported that Aave founder Stani Kulechov called for a reform of the DAO governance model, pointing out that the current decision-making process is slowed down by forum discussions, temperature checks, and multiple rounds of voting, making it prone to politicization and leading participants to form alliances rather than focusing on building. Governance should focus on major protocol changes and treasury strategies, while other execution aspects require leaders to drive, in order to maintain Aave's agility and capture opportunities in the global lending market. Recently, the Aave community experienced governance turmoil, with core contributors BGD Labs and ACI successively withdrawing from the protocol due to disagreements with Aave Labs' "Aave Will Win" proposal.
