Solana deploys Falcon post-quantum signature scheme to defend against quantum threats

Techub News, according to watcher.guru, after researching post-quantum migration solutions, the Solana development team Anza and Firedancer have confirmed the adoption of the post-quantum digital signature scheme Falcon. The network currently does not require immediate changes, but an emergency plan has been established that can be activated at any time to address the threat of quantum computing.

The ecosystem previously achieved quantum resilience through Blueshift's Winternitz Vault, a solution that has been in operation for over two years and has been cited by a Google white paper as a post-quantum work example. Currently, public chains such as Ethereum and XRP are also researching post-quantum security features to prepare for the era of quantum computing.
