ZachXBT: @sexinfochina user operates the dark web market FreeCity and launders money for North Korean hackers

Techub News reports that ZachXBT tweeted, the user @sexinfochina deliberately concealed the identity of the cybercriminal operating the Chinese darknet market "FreeCity". This user publicly promoted illegal services on Telegram and knowingly laundered the proceeds of more than 5 hacking attacks for North Korea as part of their over-the-counter transactions. Two years ago, this user commissioned ZachXBT to investigate the reason for a CEX account freeze, which led to an on-chain trace back to a nine-figure theft case linked to North Korea. Although the user is Chinese, most of the illegal transactions occurred in places like Southeast Asia.
