Berachain: All funds stolen due to the vulnerability have been recovered, and the blockchain has resumed operation.

Techub News, Berachain announced that all funds lost (approximately $12.8 million) due to the BEX / Balancer v2 exploit have been returned to the Berachain Foundation Deployer address. The blockchain has resumed operations. HONEY minting/redemption functions have also been restored accordingly, but all BEX functionalities are restricted, including swapping, withdrawals, deposits, etc.

For those exploited pools with a significant number of independent depositors, the Berachain core team is currently developing a system that will return the deposits to their original addresses and distribute them to users accordingly. The team reminds users that currently, unaffected deposited funds in BEX cannot be withdrawn temporarily. This is a precautionary measure as the root cause of the Balancer exploit has not yet been fully identified.
