Wormhole: Launching Wormhole Reserve and Optimizing Token Release Mechanism Soon

Techub News: Wormhole announced the upcoming launch of Wormhole Reserve to support the long-term development of the ecosystem. Wormhole stated that as protocols and applications expand, related revenue and value will be injected into the reserve, driving W to be directly linked to ecosystem growth. Additionally, to enhance market stability, Wormhole will implement a bi-weekly unlocking mechanism starting October 3, replacing the traditional annual unlocking cliff period. The adjusted release schedule covers guardian nodes, community and launch, ecosystem and incubation, and strategic partners, accounting for approximately 64.7% of the total token allocation; the foundation treasury and core contributors will maintain their original rules, with the foundation continuing daily releases and core contributors still adhering to the annual locking agreement until October 2028.
