On October 30, 2025, the "RWA Services Association", in collaboration with Singapore's compliant RWA tokenization platform DigiFT, officially completed Hong Kong's first cross-border compliant tokenization of a listed company's shares. TOKEN Name / Code: TaYang / TY317 (Dayang Group HK.1991).
This milestone event marks the first time a Hong Kong listed company's shares have been tokenized through a regulated platform in Singapore. It establishes a compliant model for on-chain individual and institutional investors to participate in listed stock investments, signifying a new phase in the compliant integration of Hong Kong stock assets with blockchain technology, and provides an innovative practical example for the digitization of global financial assets.
The growth potential of the underlying RWA asset — Dayang Group — injects substantial value into the project. Established in 1991 and listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2007, this company is actively transforming into areas such as AI digital humans and RWA, with its market recognition continuously increasing. Industry insiders point out that this cooperation converts high-quality Hong Kong stock assets into tradable on-chain tokens, aligning with the global trend of the RWA market extending from low-risk to high-yield assets, while also providing a reference path for traditional enterprises to connect with the Web3 ecosystem.
The "RWA Services Association" is a service-oriented organization jointly initiated by over ten professional institutions (including digital banks, securities firms, asset managers, on-chain technology service providers, law firms, crypto exchanges, etc.) and dozens of expert teams in the RWA field across the Asia-Pacific region. The association is committed to building a compliant and innovative bridge for enterprises and traditional capital to enter the Web3 world, guided by the philosophy: "Drive Innovation, Advocate Compliance, Foster Cooperation, Create Value."
Ms. Zhu Hua, Head of the "RWA Services Association" and Founder of ChainX, stated: "This Dayang project leverages the mature Ethereum technical architecture and Automated Market Maker (AMM) liquidity mechanism to achieve cross-border circulation under the Singapore regulatory framework. This represents an innovative practice by the Association in exploring the direction of 'standard asset tokenization'. Against the backdrop of the global RWA market size having exceeded $300 billion, the Association will use this as a starting point to continuously promote collaboration among on-chain RWA ecosystem service institutions. We welcome more institutions and enterprises aspiring to contribute professional service value in the RWA field to apply to join the Association."
