This virtual webinar, hosted by Web3 Harbour (W3H), features teams from Hedera, Open Campus, Varmeta, HashPack, and Basal Pay showcasing the successful execution of Vietnam’s first live blockchain payments pilot – the Da Nang Stablecoin Sandbox. Discover how the consortium enabled real-world cross-border stablecoin transactions (USDT, USDC, and Hedera tokens) at the VNG Ironman Vietnam 70.3, using Basal Pay’s municipality-approved gateway with full KYC, AML, and automated tax compliance. The session also explores W3H members’ expansion journeys in Vietnam and opportunities to accelerate Da Nang’s International Financial Centre ambitions. Topics include Vietnam’s Web3 opportunity, regulatory landscape and execution, and insights for HK-Vietnam partnerships.
