With the Bitcoin halving approaching and the ups and downs of the bull market, the global Bitcoin community is facing a new period full of opportunities and challenges. Hackathon Event Overview (Day 1)
The Hackathon event has an online registration period from April 1st to April 20th. During this period, participants can submit participating projects to the Bitcoin Asia website. On April 25, preliminary screening results will be announced, revealing which projects have been selected to advance to the next stage. These shortlisted projects will then be invited to participate in follow-up events. Finally, on May 7, the Hackathon event schedule starts from 9:00 to 11:50 am. The main content is the Layer 2 platform keynote speech, followed by an exciting group discussion. Held from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m., teams participate in coding workshops tailored to specific Layer 2 industries. Hackathon participating projects were finally selected.

Demo Day Overview (Day 2)
Demo Day: Project parties can register to participate through the following link. This portal is open to ambitious projects around the world and aims to discover and showcase 15-20 innovative and feasible projects that will have an impact on the Bitcoin ecosystem. Make a positive impact. On May 8, selected projects will receive an exclusive invitation to participate in the Demo Day event of Bitcoin Devcon Day 2. Projects that continue to perform well in additional events will receive further invitations to participate in Bitcoin Asia’s official Demo Day events in Hong Kong and the United States. This will open the door to Asia’s largest Bitcoin conference, providing a platform for projects to network with global leaders, investors and potential partners.

This year's hackathon theme focuses on Bitcoin Layer2, and joins hands with six leading Layer2 projects - Merlinchain, BOB, Botanix Labs, CKB, AINN Layer2 and BEVM to jointly expand Bitcoin ecological applications. Participants will choose their preferred public chain to register. The evaluation criteria of this event not only focus on community participation, but also focus on professional evaluation from well-known judging panels such as Multicoin, Electric Capital, CMS, UTXOManagement and Satoshi Lab. Projects will be evaluated based on popularity, a key measure of community interest and engagement. At the same time, the comprehensive scores of the judges will be taken into consideration to comprehensively evaluate the project foundation, community data analysis and product progress. The addition of these Bitcoin Layer2 projects will surely inject more color and vitality into this Hackathon.
