Techub News, according to TechCrunch, AI startup Thinking Machines Lab, founded by former OpenAI CTO Mira Murati, announced on Monday the launch of interaction models. The technology adopts a "full duplex" architecture, capable of simultaneously processing user input and generating responses, enabling a real-time two-way dialogue experience similar to a phone call, rather than the traditional AI turn-based response mode. The model is named TML-Interaction-Small, with a response time of only 0.40 seconds, approaching the speed of natural human conversation and significantly faster than similar models from OpenAI and Google. Currently, the technology is still in the research preview stage and has not been made available to the public. The company plans to launch a limited research preview in the coming months and will release it more broadly later this year.
