Officials stated that user funds on the affected chains can still be withdrawn normally to retained networks such as Arbitrum, Base, or Optimism. Deactivated chains may be reconnected through governance voting in the future if they attract new developers and trading volume. The community generally supports the proposal, believing that pruning low-TVL chains helps improve overall liquidity management efficiency.
