MultiBank crypto division launches Ghana gold tokenization project

Techub News, according to Decrypt, the MultiBank Group crypto division mb.io has partnered with Kings Orbis and other institutions to launch a gold tokenization project in West Africa. The project will tokenize physical gold on-chain via the mb.io RWA platform, with gold supplied by EON3, infrastructure provided by Mavryk, and physical custody held at a Dubai LBMA-certified institution. The collaboration is supported by the Asante King Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and aims to digitize the 700-year-old Asante gold heritage. In addition to commodity-grade gold, the project will also tokenize gold artworks, opening up African gold investment channels to global investors in a divisible digital form.
