Brazilian court orders freeze of $213 million USDT from gambling platform executives

The ruling stems from a tax dispute arising from its gambling operations and cryptocurrency token sales between 2021 and 2024. Brazilian authorities allege that the platform provided gambling services to Brazilian users without a local license, and that related cryptocurrency sales generated taxable income. According to reports, the case is currently a civil tax dispute, with no criminal charges filed yet. Kiziloz and his legal team are appealing the government's tax claims.
