Google's Frontier Model Gemini 4 Argon Independently Tested to Match GPT-6 Astra

Techub News reports that Google has launched its first frontier model in seven months, Gemini 4 Argon. Independent testing shows that its performance is comparable to OpenAI's GPT-6 Astra, but not as good as Anthropic's Claude Opus 5.5. The model is priced at $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens, but the number of tokens required to complete tasks is more than twice that of Astra.
