Techub News, according to CriptoNoticias, the Sumar parliamentary group in Spain has submitted an amendment to the Congress of Deputies proposing revisions to three tax laws to strengthen cryptocurrency taxation. The proposal suggests including gains from non-financial instrument crypto assets in the general tax base for personal income tax, with a tax rate of up to 47%, instead of the current 30% cap under the savings tax base. It also stipulates that such gains be taxed at a 30% rate for corporate income tax. The proposal further requires the Spanish National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) to create a risk rating system for cryptocurrencies, which must be displayed mandatorily on investment platforms. Additionally, the amendment includes all crypto assets within the scope of attachable assets, expanding the previous regulation that only applied to assets under the EU's MiCA framework.
