Techub News reports that Ripple has disclosed the progress of its $25 million education donation to DonorsChoose and Teach For America last year. Of this amount, $15 million was used through DonorsChoose to fund 48,108 classroom projects, covering all 50 states in the U.S., with 86% located in low-income schools.
The donation was primarily settled using the RLUSD stablecoin, providing a practical case for the large-scale operation of crypto-native philanthropy. Ripple employees also donated $25,700 to selected projects via gift cards to purchase teaching resources such as science supplies and art materials.
